    Contract Detail: The DTIC Information Analysis Center (IAC) Cyber Security and Information Systems Technical Area Tasks (CS TAT) is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract for Research & Development (R&D) and/or Advisory & Assistance Services related to R&D efforts in the following focus areas:

    • Software Data and Analysis
    • Cyber Security and Information Assurance
    • Modeling and Simulation
    • Knowledge Management and Information Sharing


    The objective of the CSTAT contract is to obtain a wide range of cyber security and information systems-related research, development, studies, evaluations, analyses and similar services. Task Orders, known as Technical Area Tasks (TATs), draw from and build on the existing IAC cyber security and information systems knowledge base and, in turn, add to that knowledge base through the development and delivery of STI that advances the body of cyber security and information systems knowledge in the technical community and can be shared within that community. TATs are flexible and can vary from a fraction of a staff year to several staff years. Costs may vary from a few thousand dollars to several million dollars.

    Eligible Agencies: DoD components, other U.S. Government agencies and departments and their contractors, and state and local governments; and Industry, academia, international organizations in which the U.S. Government is a member or participant, foreign governments with which the United States has international agreements for military or related operations ,and other institutions where the results of such research, development and/or analyses are expected to provide benefits to the U.S. Government in the future.

    CSTAT Ordering Process: CS TAT potential customers include DoD components, other Government agencies, industry and academia. The IAC Program Office has a dedicated Customer Support Cell (CSC) to help the Requiring Activity (RA) through the entire process of requirements package development and submission. The Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT) for TATs is 90 days after release of the Task Order Proposal Request (TOPR).  Please contact the CSC via email at to assist you in putting together your requirements package.
