Enterprise Operations and Maintenance

SMS provides operations and maintenance support to keep critical enterprise systems functioning at peak performance, security and reliability. We offer fully managed services to support our customer’s data centers, network operations centers and enterprise service desks by supplying personnel, processes tools and technologies. We provide organizational and executive strategic communication expertise in graphic and multimedia design, photographic services, film/audio restoration and conversion, and CCTV broadcasting and production services. By leveraging our foundation of business processes and expertise, and tailoring them to your specific needs, we provide well-defined, scalable, and flexible services based on the following core principles:

 

Industry Best Practices: SMS provides institutionalized, repeatable O&M processes based on industry-certified practices, such as Help Desk Institute (HDI), ITIL, and PMBOK. Our management and quality processes are based in standards such as CMMI and ISO, and we have extensive experience in technical best practices such as Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, and Security (FCAPS), and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworks.

 

Automation of Standard Operating Procedures: SMS uses automation to maximize the full functionality of available tools. We institute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that define standardized processes and practices to manage the entire scope of our program responsibilities. SOPs cover the entire scope of our program responsibilities, and are tailored to provide the maximum delivery of our customer’s specific requirements.

 

Service Level Management: SMS uses a full range of Enterprise Management tools, techniques, best practices and proven industry methodologies such as earned value techniques, and root cause analysis to capture, monitor, analyze and control all stages of delivery, then measure and report against the SLA requirements. Service Improvement (Preventive, Corrective, and Demand Maintenance), Proactive Monitoring and Escalation are key activities SMS focuses on to ensure SLAs are exceeded.

 

Enabling Culture:  SMS fosters a proactive, positive corporate culture and seek individuals with great work ethics and can-do attitudes. We place an emphasis on structure and standardization, resource management, communication and collaboration, and an enterprise-wide point of view. This includes cross-utilization of the workforce; an internal training program; defined individual scope of responsibilities; and detailed SOPs which allows individuals to perform when needed, certain tasks outside of their scope or expertise level.
