SMS Announces Robins AFB Base Telecommunication Services Win

McLean, VA | September 16, 2016 – SMS, a leading IT services provider and systems integration firm with over 40 years of experience providing IT solutions to the Federal Government, announced today it was awarded the Air Force, Base Telecommunication Support Task Order as a prime contract holder under the NETCENTS-2 NETOPS and Infrastructure Small Business Contract.
 

The one year, task order is at Robins AFB and supports mission critical systems communication evaluation, base telecommunications support, and also includes operations and maintenance (O&M) supporting the entire base. Under the task order SMS will place highly trained specialists supporting all aspects of Robins AFB’s telephony systems with potential for additional personnel for special projects as needed.
 

“This award represents a very strategic win for SMS on our recently awarded NETCENTS-2 contract,” stated Luis Laranjeira, SMS’ EVP for Business Development. “SMS is proud to be supporting Robins Air Force Base and the USAF mission. We look forward to continued success in our support of this important customer,” added Laranjeira.
