McLean, VA | January 3, 2013 – SMS, a leading IT services provider and systems integration firm with nearly 40 years of experience providing IT solutions to the Federal Government, announced today it will be working with By Light Professional Services Inc. on the Global Information Services Management Engineering, Transition and Implementation (GSM-ETI) IDIQ contract for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

Throughout the potential five-year contract duration worth approximately $1.4 billion dollars, SMS will provide worldwide support carrying out required engineering, transition, implementation, integration; connection approval and IT service management activities, in support of existing and future Defense Information System Network (DISN) networking capabilities. SMS’ services will predominantly be within the continental United States, however, support services may also be required at multiple overseas locations.
