McLean, VA | March 4, 2025 SMS is proud to announce its recent award of the Network Control Center (NCC) NetOps task order, which encompasses a comprehensive range of services for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Operations Division (AFLCMC/GBO) at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Alabama.

The 5-year task order, valued at $5.7M, was awarded under the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) contract vehicle. It was originally awarded to SMS in 2020 under the NETCENTS-2 IDIQ.

SMS will continue to provide essential technical expertise to the Network Operations Branch, supporting approximately 1,800 users, 51 major information system program offices, and their development and sustainment efforts for about 115 information technology Combat Support Systems. The scope of work includes network administration, architecture, management, and configuration, as well as software and change management, network applications services, and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone service.
