SMS Awarded the Los Angeles Air Force Base 61st Communications Squadron Base Operations Support Task Order
McLean, VA | October 7, 2020 – SMS announced today it has been awarded the Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) 61st Communications Squadron (CS) Base Operations Support Task Order under the NETCENTS-2 NETOPS & Infrastructure Solutions Small Business Contract.
The $36 million, five-year task order supports the 61st CS at LAAFB and other regional USAF facilities, including the Space and Missile System Center (SMC). The 61st CS is a subordinate group under the U.S. Space Force. SMS will deliver information technology support services to include network control center support, configuration management, communications focal point, video teleconferencing, and overall cybersecurity support and training.
