McLean, VA | May 1, 2015 – SMS, a leading IT services provider and systems integration firm with nearly 40 years of experience providing IT solutions to the Federal Government, was chosen by the United States Air Force as a prime contractor recipient for the Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) NETOPS & Infrastructure Solutions (Small Business) Contract Vehicle for IT products and services.

NETCENTS-2 SB is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract featuring a three-year base period of performance with four one-year options and has a ceiling value of $5.79 billion over the 7 year period. The IT Services covered by the contract are designed to bring all Air Force systems into compliance with the service’s cyber-space architecture, including cyber security, networking, servers/storage, sustainment, migration, integration, training, help-desk services, systems testing and overall program operations.
