McLean, VA | August 4, 2022 –  SMS announced today the appointment of Ms. Lexley Bender in the new executive position of Vice President of Communications.

As Vice President of Communications, Lexley is responsible for the consistency, clarity, and quality of SMS’ internal and external communications across all departments.  Lexley has been with SMS for almost ten years, serving in strategic roles in business development and capture. Prior to SMS, she held various communications and marketing roles, and her thirty years of multi-functional experience is critical as she implements communications plans in support of the company’s strategic and organizational goals.
